OVERVIEW OF ACTIVITIES
This year, we have a special opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community. We're coming together to bless a local senior with a brand new roof!
Our team will:
- Tear off the old roofing material
- Properly dispose of all debris
- Install a brand-new 30-year composition roof
IMPACT
A local senior will get a new roof when she couldn't afford to do so. It will also start a new relationship with the Hearts for Seniors Ministry.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE
Below is a basic schedule for the project and DAY VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME!
Each Day
8 A.M. – Meet at the project location
12 P.M. – Lunch (Lunch will be provided)
1 P.M. – Continue working
4 P.M. – Stop for the day

SUPPLY LIST
- Clothes: work clothes, work gloves,
- Shoes: work shoes are preferred (e.g. no bare feet at any time) etc.
- Other: water bottle, mask
THE STORY BEHIND THE PROJECT
We’re always seeking new ways to partner with local nonprofit ministries and serve our community on a deeper level. Recently, we were contacted by Hearts for Seniors—a branch of Hearts With A Mission—about a project to help one of the elderly individuals they support. She urgently needs a new roof before the coming winter, and they reached out to ask if we could provide labor for the project. Hearts With A Mission launched Hearts for Seniors in 2023 to support isolated seniors in our community, and we saw this as a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the work of an incredible organization making a real difference in the Rogue Valley.
