Welcome

Helping Hands International, Inc. was started in 2005 by Founder and President Ron Ashpole, who comes with 30+ years of experience leading mission teams around the world.  To see how you can get involved, please review our programs below. To read about our history, click here.

Volunteers who register with us join small project teams dedicated to helping meet a practical need (e.g. food , shelter, clean water, education etc.) in a local community.  Each team is led by a trained HHI Team Leader and most projects last between 1-2 weeks.

Our Child Sponsorship program currently spans two countries, Kenya and India.  We support approximately 200 children through the program thanks to monthly sponsors.  To find out which children still need sponsorship, contact us today!

We mobilize volunteer teams to respond to U.S. Disasters (e.g. floods, hurricanes, fires etc.) to remind victims that God, and people in their community, care about their loss.  Join us and see how the the Lord changes the lives of survivors and volunteers.

Our nonprofit relies on the Lord and Volunteers to support our outreach efforts each year.  On average we have about 300+ volunteers who work with us each year but in 2020 we had >500!

Our organization has approximately 20-30 Team Leaders who guide our Service Project groups each year.  They are trained by our Staff, love the Lord, and are deeply appreciated!

We have 5 staff members, comprised of two full-time, two part time, and one volunteer to run all aspects of our operations.  We are also primarily funded by a combination of private donations, corporate sponsorships and grants.
